Zimbabwean tycoon Wicknell Chivayo elated after meeting Apostle Joshua Selman for first time

Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has penned an emotional reflection after meeting Nigerian preacher Apostle Joshua Selman, revealing that the encounter left him spiritually refreshed and reminded him that success, money and intelligence alone are not enough.

Chivayo shared the message on Saturday, September 26, 2026, after attending a service at House of Treasures Ministries alongside his wife, where he met Selman during a church conference led by Apostle Felix Okoh.

The businessman described meeting the celebrated preacher as a “great honour and privilege”, saying Selman’s teachings and revelations had left a deep impression on him.

“What a great honour and privilege for my wife and I to meet the highly respected Apostle Joshua Selman at the House of Treasures Church Conference, under the leadership of Apostle Felix Okoh,” Chivayo wrote.

Chivayo said he was particularly moved by Selman’s teachings, describing the preacher’s message as a source of wisdom and spiritual reflection as he continues pursuing his ambitious business goals.

“I was truly blessed by Apostle Selman’s profound teachings, wisdom and revelation of the Word of God,” he added.

The businessman went on to reflect on the lessons he drew from the encounter, saying that achievements should not make a person feel that there is nothing more to learn.

According to Chivayo, meeting Selman reminded him that regardless of how much a person achieves, there is always another level of wisdom to pursue and another lesson to learn.

“There are encounters that remind you that irrespective of what you have achieved in life, there is always another level of wisdom to receive, another lesson to learn and, most importantly, another reason to remain on your knees before GOD,” he wrote.

Chivayo has also openly linked his spiritual life to his ambitions, saying he continues to pursue his vision of becoming a multi-billionaire while building businesses across Africa and beyond.

He, however, acknowledged that he does not believe financial resources, intelligence and hard work alone can carry him towards the future he envisions.

“As I continue pursuing my vision of becoming a MULTI-BILLIONAIRE and building businesses of significant magnitude across Africa and beyond, I understand very well that money, intelligence and hard work alone are never enough,” Chivayo said.

The businessman has also revealed that he believes prayers remain an important part of his journey, calling for continued spiritual support as he pursues his business ambitions.

“I need PRAYERS from every corner of the world,” he wrote.

Chivayo said he wants men and women of God to continue speaking blessings, wisdom, protection, favour and divine direction over his life, his family and the ventures he has entrusted to God.

“I need men and women of God to continuously speak blessings, wisdom, protection, favour and divine direction over my life, my family and everything that God has entrusted into my hands,” he added.
