Wicknell Chivayo gifts 15 fellow church members cars worth Ksh155M

Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has gifted 15 fellow church members brand-new Toyota Fortuners worth about Ksh155 million.
Chivayo made the announcement in an Instagram post on Friday, September 25, 2026, where he celebrated the members for their dedication to the church and service to God.
He said the 15 members had remained committed to the church, respected its teachings and continued serving faithfully.
“Your 15 BRAND-NEW 2026 TOYOTA FORTUNERS 2.4 GD6 have arrived,” Chivayo said.
Chivayo announces car gifts
According to Chivayo, the 15 vehicles cost US$1.2 million, which is approximately Ksh155 million.
He instructed the beneficiaries to collect the vehicles on Wednesday from Madzibaba Chipaga at Enterprise Car Sales.
The businessman also announced an additional cash gift of US$ 5,000 (Ksh650,000) for each of the 15 church members.
“Each one of you will also receive US$5,000 cash as a token of appreciation for your commitment and service to our Church,” he said.
Chivayo named the 15 beneficiaries in his post, with members drawn from Domboshava, Chiweshe and Mrewa.
The Domboshava group included BaFedhas Nyakudya, BaWashington Ngomakurira, BaFunny Chonyera Jecha, BaLot Chitate Garimo and Tineyi Munetsi Nyakudya.
From Chiweshe, the beneficiaries were BaJohn Chigwada Negomo, BaPeter Dambo Dambo, BaBensen Renjiwero, BaTichafa Mutsamvi and BaWilson Jenami Negomo.
The Mrewa group included Mai Koti Muhacha, Baba Gilbert Goshen, BaVictor Rukungawo, BaEnstay Mutedza and BaForward Ministry.
Chivayo described the beneficiaries as dedicated members of their church family and praised their commitment to its teachings.
He also referenced the Johane Masowe family, highlighting values including love, unity, humility and faith.
The latest giveaway comes just days after prominent lawyer Advocate Lewis Uriri rejected a Ksh32 million Range Rover Sport Autobiography and Ksh13 million in cash gifts offered to him and his wife by Chivayo.
Uriri and his wife declined the gifts, citing concerns about professional independence and public confidence.
