Judy Nyawira pens moving message to Auntie Jemimah following her sold-out show

Auntie Jemimah left Nairobi buzzing with excitement after her sold-out show, Maitu Mukabete Season 3, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, delivering a performance that had fans and fellow artistes alike celebrating her talent.
Among those who praised her was Abel Mutua’s wife, Judy Nyawira, who lauded Auntie Jemimah for carrying the audience through laughter and tears while showcasing the power of storytelling.
In a post shared on her Instagram on Sunday, August 31, 2025, Judy heaped praise on Jemimah, commending her for being every bit as remarkable as she believes herself to be and thanking her for not disappointing the audience with her captivating storytelling during the show.
“Maitu Mukabete 3… What a masterpiece. @auntie_jemimah, you carried us through laughter and tears, and in every moment, you reminded us of the power of storytelling. You did it and you are exactly who you believe yourself to be. So proud of you,” she wrote.

The show, hosted at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre [KICC], attracted a star-studded crowd, including notable figures such as Abel Mutua and actress Nyce Wanjeri.
Auntie Jemimah made a grand entrance in a convoy of sleek cars, immediately setting a glamorous tone for the evening. The crowd was kept on their feet and fully engaged by DJ Dibul, who commanded the decks and amplified the energy throughout the night.
Following the performance, Auntie Jemimah expressed her gratitude to fans on social media.
She noted that the energy displayed by the attendees during her performance was unlike anything she had ever witnessed and expressed her gratitude, adding that the success of the event was entirely thanks to them.
“My heart is full of gratitude ❤️. Thank you, Nairobi, for showing up and for the love tonight. The energy at KICC is about to be unmatched, and it’s all because of YOU!”

The event’s dress code was a ‘touch of colour,’ and most attendees made a conscious effort to stay on theme.
Notable celebrities who impressed with their outfits included Abel Mutua, who wore a green custom suit crafted from African print, featuring a mix of fabrics on one leg. Nyce Wanjeri also looked elegant in teal baggy pants paired with a light green top.
