Eric Omondi’s girlfriend Lynne Njihia ready to relocate abroad for modeling career

The 24-year-old girlfriend of comedian Eric Omondi, Lynne Njihia, has detailed that she would not hesitate to relocate abroad if her modelling career blossomed to the extent that she would need to be in the UK on a daily basis.
Speaking to YouTuber Trudy Kitui just hours before they jetted off for a surprise birthday retreat on the evening of Sunday, March 30, 2025, Lynne remarked that her priority now that she was turning 24 was to propel her modelling career forward, which had already started yielding results, as she had been signed by a UK-based agency.
That was when she revealed that if the job became serious enough and required her presence almost daily, she would not hesitate to move there, most importantly because of their daughter, while insisting that Eric would not have a problem with it as he would be visiting her there from time to time.
“So right now, I’ve signed a contract, and they are already working on my portfolio. I will be a commercial model, so if the jobs become many, I will have to relocate because of Kylah. I don’t think it will be difficult for Eric; he can just take a private jet and come see me,” she said.
Eric on moving abroad
When hit with the question of whether he was in support of Lynne leaving the country and living away from him, Eric shared that he did not see any issue with it as he ultimately wanted the best for her.
He expressed that he would willingly let her go while insisting that, for himself, he could not leave Kenya as he felt he had a great deal to accomplish in ensuring that things remained on track in the country.

However, he was quick to recall that he had once entertained the ambition of moving abroad approximately six years ago with the intention of relocating to the UK, but he noted that he had since abandoned that plan and was now content with staying in Kenya.
“She is a model; that is her dream, and we will support her. But as for me, I cannot leave Kenya until things are in order. There was a time I wanted to move abroad, about six years ago, to the US, but circumstances changed. We will support her while we remain here and keep things running,” he said.
Lovebirds
The couple did not hold back from gushing over each other, and Lynne, while expressing her delight at the birthday retreat Eric had organised for her as a surprise, described him as a great man who had completely swept her off her feet.
She disclosed that she had no regrets whatsoever about being his fiancée and credited him for helping her overcome certain personality traits, such as being shy, which she admitted she had previously embodied but had since managed to outgrow by learning from him.
According to her, being in a relationship with a good person enables one to discard self-defeating characteristics, and for her, Eric had been the perfect man from whom to learn such invaluable traits.
“I really love doing life with him, and he truly makes everything better for us, and life is wonderful. If you date a good person, you naturally pick up the best qualities from them, and that is why I have become better at things like Eric,” she said.
Birthday retreat
The two were speaking in an atmosphere of excitement after Eric had announced that he was whisking Lynne away to a destination that he had deliberately chosen to keep a surprise from her, leaving her utterly smitten by his gesture and showering him with affectionate words.
Eric shared that they had left their daughter behind but was quick to reassure that she was under the best care as they were planning to be away for nearly four days.

He disclosed that Lynne would only find out where they were headed once the plane touched down and went on to gush over her, praising her for being a wonderful girlfriend.
“We have left Kenya and handed the country over to you all. Let us go! Tomorrow is Lynne’s birthday, and even she has no idea where she is going; she will only find out when the plane lands. She is going to unwind, and I will also get a chance to relax. You know, when you step out of Kenya for a bit, you feel refreshed. She is going to celebrate outside Kenya,” he said.
