Edday Nderitu speaks out amid concerns over Samidoh’s cryptic message

The estranged wife of the celebrated mugithi artiste Samidoh Muchoki, Edday Nderitu, has showered him and their entire family with heartfelt love in a touching message just hours after the ‘Kairitu Gakwa’ singer alarmed fans with a mysterious post hinting at his untimely death.
In the Instagram post on Friday, May 23, 2025, Edday shared a photo of herself, Samidoh, and their children and praised them in tender words, emphasising that they are a resilient family who always rise above any obstacles life throws at them.
“These are people who are simply untouchable, not because of who they are but because of whose they are,” she wrote.
She went on to express how deeply she cherishes them and places them above all else, asserting that she is fully confident that they are guarded and shielded by God; thus, she does not fear that anything negative can ever shake their foundation.
She added enigmatically that weapons have tried to bring them down at some point, without specifying which weapons, but insisted that they endured these attacks and came out victorious.
“They walk through fire and do not burn. They face storms and still stand tall. They are protected, defended, and covered by the Most High God. No weapon formed against them thrives, not because weapons do not come, but because divine protection surrounds them like an unbreakable shield,” she added.

Nderitu then stressed that they also enjoy God’s abundant favour and declared that this is why all their endeavours always succeed.
“When God places His hand on your life, no enemy, no attack, no scheme can prevail. Favour pursues them. Grace envelops them. Peace carries them. They are the ones God fights for, the ones hidden beneath the shadow of His wings. So if you have been wondering how someone keeps rising despite all that is thrown their way, now you know. They are God’s chosen. Untouchable. Unshakeable. Unbreakable,” she posted.
Samidoh’s ominous post
Edday’s message came hot on the heels of the father of her children’s ominous post concerning death.
In the message posted on the night of Thursday, May 22, 2025, Samidoh spoke about the possibility of an unexpected death, hinting that his life could be at risk.
The acclaimed artiste, who also serves as a police officer, said he has lived a rewarding life.
“In case I die unexpectedly, or before my time, I want you to know that I have lived a full and meaningful life. Allah gave me the chance to travel the world, witness nature in all its glory, and meet incredible people with whom I was fortunate enough to share a moment,” Samidoh declared.
This came a day after the singer vowed to make a significant announcement on May 21, 2025, an announcement he is yet to reveal.
“Let the world remember my name not just as a combination of letters but as a heart that burned with a fierce flame. If I die young, remember the dreams we chased together, dreams of a better life, not only for ourselves but for generations to come. If you ever miss me, look at the stars; I will be there shining brightly, reminding you to live your life with passion, chase your dreams, and treasure the people around you,” he added.

“Also remember to tell my mama I did my best!”
Following the post, fans flooded Samidoh’s social media accounts with messages of encouragement.
Here are some reactions from fans:
Pattie Ndush Panduka posted, “And when you feel down and at your lowest, remember you have a family counting on you. At such a time, kneel down and ask God for the strength to keep going.”
Geoff Kariuki Kayai said, “You will live to testify to the goodness of the Lord. Do not give up. We have prayers tonight here in New York; I will mention you by name.”
“My God cover you with His wings … You are not going anywhere,” Purity Nduta Macharia said.
