Safaricom announces scheduled system upgrade for Fuliza service

Safaricom has announced a scheduled upgrade of its Fuliza service, aimed at enhancing service delivery and introducing improved features for customers.
In a notice released on Saturday, November 15, 2025, the company informed users of the upcoming maintenance window and its expected impact.
The maintenance exercise is set for Monday, November 17, 2025, between 0100 and 0200 hours. During this period, Fuliza services may experience intermittent access, though all other M-PESA services will continue to operate normally.
“To support this and meet our promise to offer always-on, safe, secure, and worry-free financial products and services, we will be conducting a scheduled system upgrade on the Fuliza Platform on Monday, 17th November 2025, from 0100 hrs to 0200 hrs,” Safaricom noted.

Safaricom reassured customers that the maintenance will be brief and that the service will be fully operational immediately after the scheduled window.
Customers are encouraged to plan their Fuliza transactions outside the maintenance period to avoid any inconvenience.
Safaricom also reminded users that all other M-PESA services, including money transfers, bill payments, and mobile banking, will remain unaffected and accessible throughout the maintenance window.
