Part of Nairobi to experience interruption of water supply

Residents along Uhuru Highway will experience interrupted water supply for 24 hours from 6:00 am on Thursday, July 15 to Friday, July 15 at 6:00 am the Nairobi Water Company has announced.

The firm says the supply interruption arises due to the ongoing construction of the Express Way, Mombasa Road.

” Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company Ltd. will shut down water supply pipeline along Uhuru Highway due to ongoing construction of the Express Way/Mombasa Road starting from 6:00 am on Thursday, 15th July 2021 to Friday, 16th July 2021 at 6:00 am,” part of the press statement reads.

The areas listed for interruption include; the whole of the city centre (UoN main campus, Industrial Area, Coca Cola factory, JKIA, EPZ-Athi River, among others).

The residential areas to be affected include; The entire Industrial area, South B, South C and other neighbourhoods along Mombasa Road.

Areas along Jogoo road; City Stadium, Mathare, Eastleigh, Airforce Base, Huruma, Kariobangi, Pangani, Maringo, Buruburu, Bahati, other estates along Jogoo Road, Baba Dogo, Dandora, Umoja, Donholm, Fedha, Tassia and Embakasi.
