Telecommunications provider Safaricom has announced that some of its services will be unavailable to users over the weekend.
In a statement issued on Saturday, July 24, the giant Telco said some of its services will be unavailable from 10pm on Saturday adding that it will be upgrading its systems to help her customers much better.
“We will be upgrading our different systems to increase our capacity in line with customer growth and support. More innovations to meet the different needs of our customers,’ Safaricom said in a statement.
To allow for smooth upgrade on its systems, Safaricom said it will focus on upgrade services including product purchases, balance enquiry, Okoa Jahazi, Tunukiwa, all Bonga Point services and Post Paid Payment.
Safaricom also said that subscribers seeking to pay their Home Fiber on Saturday will have to wait till Sunday, 25 July at 8am.
“All other services, including calls, data, M-PESA and SMS will remain available as usual.” Safaricom said.
