List of areas to be affected by blackout on Sunday

Kenya Power has announced a scheduled blackout that will affect parts of Kisumu County on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

In a notice issued on Saturday, November 29, the utility company cited routine network maintenance as the reason for the planned maintenance.

According to the notice, the blackout will affect parts of Kisumu County, specifically Masogo, Onyalo Biro, Ombei, Ngere Kagoro, Ogilo and Othoo Market. The interruption will run from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Kenya Power advised customers in the affected areas to prepare for the outage and apologised for any inconvenience that may be caused.
