KUCCPS reopens applications for KMTC September 2025 intake

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its online application system for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake.
In an official update shared via X on Friday, August 15, 2025, KUCCPS announced that prospective students can now submit their applications for various medical courses in diploma and certificate programmes.
According to the latest update by KUCCPS, the application window will run from Friday, August 15, to Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The placement body has urged all interested candidates to visit its student portal at students.kuccps.net and complete the application process before the deadline.
“KUCCPS has reopened applications for diploma and certificate programmes at KMTC. Application Period: 15th to 28th August 2025,” the update read.

Official opening
This comes after KUCCPS, in a public notice shared on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, officially opened its online application system for the KMTC September 2025 intake.
The application window was opened on Monday, June 23, 2025, and closed on July 7, 2025.
KUCCPS had also asked applicants to carefully review the available courses and ensure they meet the required qualifications before applying.
The process is open to students who wish to pursue either diploma or certificate programmes at KMTC campuses across the country.

Courses available
A wide range of courses is available in this intake. Some of the diploma programmes include Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology, Diploma in Occupational Therapy and Diploma in Community Oral Health.
Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing and Midwifery, Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology and Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
The medical college also offers Certificate courses, which include a certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Medical Engineering, a certificate in Emergency Medical Technician and a certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics
All these programmes are designed to equip learners with the practical skills needed in Kenya’s growing healthcare sector
