Raila graces wedding of David Langat’s daughter and PS Belio’s son
Billionaire businessman David Langat’s daughter, Nicole Chepkoech Langat, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, tied the knot with Brian Kipkoech Belio, son of Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang.
The lavish ceremony, held at the serene Naishola Gardens in Limuru, brought together political leaders, business tycoons, and dignitaries from across the country.

Among those in attendance were First Lady Rachel Ruto, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga, and Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service Felix Koskei.
Taking to his official X account after the ceremony, Koskei congratulated the newlyweds and wished them a lifetime of love, happiness, peace, and divine favour as they begin the new journey together.

Nicole and Brian’s engagement
Nicole and Brian first celebrated their engagement on the night of Saturday, June 21, 2025, at an event that was headlined by Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux.
The engagement event was graced by President William Ruto.
It was also attended by top dignitaries, close family, and friends, including the First Lady and Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi.
Traditional dowry ceremony
Two months later, a traditional dowry payment ceremony for Brian Nicole Langat was held. The event happened on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Held in accordance with the Tumdoab Kanyiook tradition, the event was a celebration of love, respect, and gratitude—core values of the Kalenjin community.
The ceremony marked a significant cultural milestone, bringing together family members, friends, and dignitaries to witness the union and reaffirm traditional values.
Sudi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the young couple and their families, wishing them a lifetime of love, happiness, and unity as they embark on their new journey together.
“I attended the traditional dowry presentation for Brian Belio, son of Belio Kipsang, Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services, and Nicole Langat, daughter of businessman David Langat. The dowry presentation was marked with Tumdoab Kanyiook, a tradition symbolising respect and gratitude,” Sudi stated.
