Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi on Saturday, August 2, 2025, attended the traditional dowry ceremony for Brian Belio, son of Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services Belio Kipsang, and Nicole Langat, daughter of prominent businessman David Langat.
The event, held in accordance with the Tumdoab Kanyiook tradition, was a celebration of love, respect, and gratitude—core values of the Kalenjin community.

Taking to his official social media accounts on Saturday evening, Sudi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the young couple and their families, wishing them a lifetime of love, happiness, and unity as they embark on their new journey together.
“I attended the traditional dowry presentation for Brian Belio, son of Belio Kipsang, Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services, and Nicole Langat, daughter of businessman David Langat. The dowry presentation was marked with Tumdoab Kanyiook, a tradition symbolising respect and gratitude,” Sudi stated.

Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, on the night of Saturday, June 21, 2025, had the honour of performing at an exclusive VIP engagement ceremony in Nairobi.
The event was graced by President William Ruto.
The high-profile celebration marked the engagement of Nicole Langat, daughter of billionaire business mogul David Lang’at, alias DL, and his wife, Hellen Langat.
