He’s Nyandarua CEC nominee – SportPesa finally reveals identity of its Ksh38M Midweek Jackpot winner

Nyandarua County Executive Committee Member (CECM) nominee for lands, physical planning and urbanization John Ndung’u Muiru is this year’s SportPesa midweek Jackpot winner.

Muiru was unveiled as the fifth person to win the Jackpot after winning Ksh38,792,902 on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

He presented himself at the Sportpesa offices on Saturday, October 29, 2022, a day after he attended an hour of vetting at the Nyandarua County Assembly.

Speaking at Sportpesa offices, Muiru acknowledged that God was the centre of his success following the great news he received.

“It is all God because I have not been in employment since my retrenchment when covid struck. Life has been hard since then but today I am really really happy. In the last two weeks, good things have been happening in my life and it is like a dream,” he stated.

When asked how he plans to spend the money, Muiru who noted that he was currently eyeing the SportPesa Mega jackpot which presently stands at Ksh258,230,739 stated that he intends to give some money back to a good cause by supporting a seminary student for studies.
