Media personality Oga Obinna has opened up about dating single mums.

Speaking in a podcast with media personality Kamene Goro, Obinna praised single mums saying they are the most peaceful women a man can date.

According to the radio presenter, single mums have not only mastered the art of patience but are perfect at hosting a partner since they don’t dump their men anyhow.

“They have patience. For you to raise a child afike three years ama four, patience. Watoto husumbua na huyu mama ameshateseka atakuwa patience na wewe kidogo,” Obinna told Kamene and DJ Bonez.

“Ukipata mtu hana mtoi, mna breakup everyday. Ukipata mtu ameshazaa hawezi kukdump hivyo ovyo ovyo.”

Obinna on disadvantages

He however went on to mention that despite the mums being good candidates, the challenge comes in when the children start looking for a dad in him.

“I don’t mind when the lady has a child, the only problem is hawa watoto wananigeuzanga nakuwa baba yao,” he said.

Explaining his point, he said bonding with the kids makes them forget their biological dads, something he is not comfortable with.

“You bond with the child so much, the child now does not want to see the father and then now, you become the father. There is a child who asked me if he can call me dad. Of course, I said yes, you can’t turn down a child,” he added.

To him, single mums remain a catch but when kids are involved, it then complicates things for him.
