Public Service and Delivery Management Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria has promised to fully sponsor the education of the three grandsons of Pauline Njoroge, a Kiambu Mama Mboga.
The CS pledged when he attended the burial ceremony of Pauline’s son, Alex Mbugua Waithira at Githunguri, Kiambu County on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
He was accompanied by Kiambu County Woman Representative Anne Wamuratha, area MP Gathoni Wamuchomba, and the area Member of County Assembly (MCA) among others.
Affirming his vows, CS Kuria affirmed his actions to Pauline’s undeterred support of the Kenya Kwanza regime during the 2022 election campaigns.
The former Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) also reiterated his urge to empower the three, saying taking them through school would offer a long-term solution compared to offering them jobs.
“Mrs. Pauline Njoroge, popularly known as ‘Mama Mboga’, was an instrumental face in our campaign in the 2022 election campaigns. Today, I joined her, her family, relatives, and friends in Githunguri, Kiambu County, as she laid to rest her only son, Alex Mbugua Waithira, who rested at the age of 51. I have committed to educate and empower the three sons he has left behind,” CS Kuria said.

Pauline’s son died at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) after a long-term battle with sickness.
After her child’s demise, Pauline was left with a huge hospital bill to settle and thus appealed to the public to help her raise the Ksh400,000 needed by the facility for the body to be released.
She revealed that several attempts to get help from a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders failed to bear fruit and that most leaders refused to pick up her calls as soon as the party clinched power.
Pauline went viral in 2022 after she endorsed Ruto’s presidential bid at the Bomas of Kenya.
