Interior and Education Cabinet Secretaries Kithure Kindiki and Ezekiel Machogu have not taken any foreign trips according to the latest poll by TIFA.
In the poll conducted between November 25 and December 7, 2023, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, along with CSs Salim Mvurya and Ababu Namwamba, were recorded as the most frequent travellers outside Kenya.
TIFA revealed that they relied on data from media reports and social media pages to outline the travel activities of the CSs from January to November 2023.
Kindiki and Machogu reported zero foreign trips. In contrast, Kipchumba Murkomen embarked on six trips, Eliud Owalo on 12, Susan Nakhumicha on three, Mithika Linturi on nine, and Musalia Mudavadi on 16 foreign trips.
The report also delves into the number of counties visited by the Cabinet Secretaries.
Kithure Kindiki stands out with visits to 41 counties, followed by Kipchumba Murkomen with 23, Eliud Owalo, Susan Mithika, and Mithika Linturi with 20 each.
Musalia Mudavadi and Salim Mvurya have visited 19 and 18 counties, respectively, while Ababu Namwamba and Ezekiel Machogu have visited 15 and 16 counties, respectively.
Soipan Tuya rounds off the list with 14 counties visited.
Kindiki, Mudavadi, Machogu ranked best performing CSs
Kindiki, who has previously been ranked as the best-performing topped the list of best-performing CSs again with a score of 65 per cent in the poll.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, who serves as the Foreign Affairs CS, emerged second with a 62 per cent score while Education CS Ezekiel Machogu came third at 58 per cent.
