‘Ruto is making a king in Kindiki’ – Kanyari declares as he predicts his presidency

Salvation Healing Ministries founder Prophet Victor Kanyari has predicted that Deputy President Kithure Kindiki will one day become Kenya’s president.

In a video shared on his Facebook account on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Kanyari shared his prophecy, adding that President William Ruto is moulding his deputy for the future.

Wewe ngojea uone, Kindiki Kithure atakuja kuwa rais wa hii nchi (You wait and see, Kithure Kindiki will one day be the president of this country),” he declared.

According to Kanyari, the humility and demeanour embraced by Kindiki is a tactic that will pay off handsomely in the long run.

Vile unaonanga anajifanya mpole mpole, sio mpole huyo mwanaume, ni mjanja. Najua mheshimiwa hafai kukanyagwa, hata akipigwa kofi pa kwa ofisi ananyamaza (You see him cutting the image of a humble man, but he is not meek. He is smart and knows those who shouldn’t be challenged even if he is slapped in the office),” Kanyari said.

Ruto is preparing Kindiki for presidency

He further claimed that the head of state is preparing his deputy for greater things beyond the latter’s current position, hailing the president as a kingmaker.

“There are king makers, they make kings and queens, you cannot make yourself. Wanaitwa king makers,” Kanyari captioned the video, which was recorded at the self-styled preacher’s church in Njiru. “President Ruto is building a king in Prof Kindiki”.

Kindiki has been a loyal deputy to his boss, helping the president fight his political battles with his allies, insisting that the position of deputy president is not on the table even as Ruto warms up to collaboration with the Orange Democratic Movement in the 2027 elections.

Kindiki offers to take up Ruto’s battles

Kindiki asked his boss to let him handle insults after a storm generated by the recent remarks targeting opposition leaders.

The statements were deemed unpresidential, with criticisms flying in as many noted that such conduct is not expected from the Head of State.

Mimi nimesema sasa enough is enough. Mimi nimeambia mdosi wangu sasa atulize boli. Awachane na hawa watu. Ni watu wadogo awachie fireman,” he said in reference to his political slogan, ni fire si fire.

This loosely translates to: I have told my boss to let me handle them. They are insignificant people; he should leave them to the fireman.

He also said that the same people fingering Ruto for being unpresidential are on record using their time to insult and demean the office of the president and the holder of that office.
