Diana Chepkemoi the young lady who was stuck in Saudi Arabia has finally arrived in the country.
She was received by her parents, relatives and students from Meru university at the JKIA on Tuesday, September 6, after working in the gulf country for one and half years.
Speaking after her arrival, Diana lamented the inhumane treatment Kenyans continue to be subjected to in the gulf and urged government intervention.
“People are suffering there. My case is just the tip of the iceberg. My friends are suffering…some have been tormented and have even forgotten their names. I urge the government to intervene,” she pleaded.
Diana’s rescue follows her viral images on social media showing her deteriorating condition.
This caused fury with netizens demanding her release.
