Nairobi’s Chief Officer for Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has shown off his little-known 93-year-old father to the public for the first time and also revealed that he has 22 siblings.

Speaking in a TikTok video on Sunday, June 7, 2026, Mosiria referred to his father as Mosiria Senior while describing himself as Mosiria Junior.

He then used the opportunity to clear up a long-standing misunderstanding about the size of his family, revealing that he had spent years believing he came from a family of 21 children, only to discover that the actual number was higher.

According to Mosiria, he had always told people that he and his siblings were 21 in total, a figure many often found difficult to believe.

“So today I am at home, and I visited my father. He is Mosiria Senior, and I am Mosiria Junior. I have been telling people that we are 21 in our family, and they don’t believe it. We are actually 22,” he added.

However, during the visit, his father corrected him and revealed that the family actually consists of 22 children.

Mosiria explained that even his eldest brother had always believed the family had 21 children, making the revelation a surprise to many members of the family.

The chief officer jokingly admitted that he may have been doing his calculations incorrectly all along.

“So it seems I was doing my maths wrong. My elder brother also says we are 21 because that is what we always thought, but my father has said we are 22 and he knows better,” he added.

During the video, Mosiria disclosed that his father clarified that the family comprises 12 sons and 10 daughters, bringing the total number of children to 22.

He noted that since the information came directly from his father, there was no room for argument.

Mosiria further acknowledged that his father, being the head of the family, was the most reliable source when it came to determining the exact number of children he had raised.

“Thought we were 21, but my dad has now clarified that we are 22, 12 sons and 10 daughters,” he added.

The TikTok video also featured Mosiria’s eldest brother, whom he described as the family’s firstborn.

In a light-hearted moment, Mosiria joked that many people would easily mistake his elder brother for his father’s brother due to his age and appearance.

“Also, my elder brother is here today, and he is the firstborn. When you see him, you would think he is my father’s brother. For the first time now, I know that we are 22,” he said.
