I have a company that makes Ksh1M profit: Kanyari reveals his other source of income
Vocal preacher Victor Kanyari has opened up about his financial life, revealing that apart from preaching, he also runs a business that generates significant income, which he says supports his church activities and charitable giving.
Speaking about his sources of income during a church service on Sunday, June 7, 2026, Kanyari said he prefers focusing on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ but also acknowledges that he has a company that earns him substantial profits.

“Mimi sipendi kutaja vitu vingine kwa sababu ya vita huku nje mimi hutaka tu kuhubiri mambo ya Yesu. So I have a company that pays me more than 1M Ksh,” Kanyari revealed.
He explained that the money he earns from the business plays a key role in supporting his church, including giving out food and assisting congregants.
“Hapo ndio napata pesa ya kupeana unga Kanisani,” he said.
Kanyari further revealed that he is actively involved in monitoring the performance of his business, often checking with his manager on daily profits.
“Mimi hupigia manager namuuliza, ‘Leo mumetengeneza pesa ngapi?” he added.
“Ananiambia, leo tumekuwa na uwezo wa kutengeneza profit ya Ksh one million, ama Ksh 700 thousand, ama Ksh 1.5 million profit.“
How he spends the profits
According to him, he uses part of the profits to give back to the community.
“Hiyo siku ndio nakuja hapa napeana unga ya Ksh 400 thousand na nina bariki watu kama 500 thousand na huko nje nina tembea nikipea watu pesa.
Kanyari on giving and receiving
Kanyari said he believes his giving is directly connected to divine blessings, explaining that generosity opens doors for more provision.
“Mimi hujua, Mungu ambaye amenipea anangojea nipeane ndio anifungulie mlango,” Kanyari said.
He added that the principle of giving and receiving is central to his beliefs, insisting that generosity attracts more blessings.
“The secret about giving and receiving is when you give, God will open your doors,” he explained.
Kanyari has been widely noted for offering monetary assistance not only to his congregants but also to other Kenyans in need of financial support. He says he often extends help beyond the church setting, giving out money and essential supplies to individuals facing hardship.
According to him, his acts of giving are guided by his belief in generosity and blessings, where he supports both church members and members of the public who approach him or are identified as being in need.
