Kenya’s Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has urged local football fans to come out in their droves as Kenya hosts the inaugural 2026 FIFA Women’s Series at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.

The particular international friendly matches are scheduled to take place from Saturday, April 11, to Wednesday, April 15, 2026 marking a significant moment for the growth and visibility of the women’s game in Kenya, as Harambee Starlets host the event with the squad already named.

Ahead of the tournament, fans have been urged to secure their seats early. Prices have been set to cater to a wide audience, with ordinary tickets going for Ksh300, VIP tickets at Ksh1,000, and VVIP access priced at Ksh5,000.

Speaking on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Odemba urged the fans to throng Nyayo Stadium in support of the home team.

”We are really excited to host Australia, Malawi and India. We are looking forward to fans coming and supporting us. Come support the girls,” she said.

Odemba’s rallying call follows Football Kenya Federation President, Hussein Mohammed, who initially had a similar request. Hussein Mohammed has called on Nairobi residents and football lovers across the country to turn out in large numbers and support the national women’s football team.

“Nairobi, get ready! Only 10 days left until the Inaugural FIFA Series Women kicks off. Grab your tickets now and be part of an epic women’s football extravaganza.” Mohammed took to his social media pages on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The tournament forms part of the global FIFA Series initiative aimed at strengthening international competition and giving national teams valuable match experience. The competition will feature Harambee Starlets alongside Australia, India, and Malawi.
