Chelsea FC have confirmed that their last home fixture of the Premier League season has been rescheduled, with Tottenham Hotspur now set to visit on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

The match had initially been planned for Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Stamford Bridge. However, after Chelsea secured progression to the FA Cup Final by defeating Leeds United, adjustments to the schedule became necessary.

This comes after Enzo Fernandez’s first-half header settled a scrappy FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United at Wembley as the Blues made a winning start after Liam Rosenior’s sacking.

Calum McFarlane was put in interim charge until the end of the season and will now lead Chelsea out against Manchester City on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Pep Guardiola’s side came back from a goal down to beat Southampton 2-1 in the first semifinal clash at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

They reached a record fourth consecutive FA Cup final, keeping alive their hopes of claiming a domestic treble.

Guardiola’s side has already lifted the Carabao Cup this season and will return to the capital on Saturday, May 16, 2026, as heavy favourites against the Blues.

Calum McFarlane praises performance

Following the win, the interim manager reserved praise for his side following Sunday, April 26, 2026, victory in the FA Cup semi-final over Leeds United.

The gaffer described the victory as a ‘momentum breaker’ following their run of poor form in the league. Chelsea failed to score in the five-game losing streak in the Premier League, which cost Liam Rosenior, but it took them only 23 minutes to find the breakthrough against Leeds in a 1-0 win.

Confidence

“I think it was important to break the momentum and the form that we were in.

“I thought we were confident that we would do that today, and I think that completely changes the feel within the group. I think that was probably more important and gives us confidence going into the next five games,” he said in an interview with Sky Sports.
