Murang’a Seal fight back to draw KCB

Michael Macharia’s goal saw the Muranga-based side clinch a valuable point against Robert Matano’s charges, who sought to topple their visitors and leapfrog them in the standings.
Seals entered the game on the back of an inconsistent run with two losses and a win against Posta Rangers as their recent outcomes.
Bankers lead
They found themselves trailing inside the opening 15 minutes after Boniface Omndi stormed the hosts to the lead.
The ex-Gor Mahia winger found the back of the net to keep his fine run with the Bankers after similar scoring displays against Nairobi United and FAC Leopards in recent fixtures.
The goal sparked life into a stunned Seal, who sought a way into the clash to no avail, with the host taking the lead to the breather.
A probing display and foray at goal saw the visitors get back in the tie after Macharia notched home from close range to level matters in the 74th minute.

The visitors spurned a late chance to snatch all three points, with Pkiach coming close from close range.
With the tied outcome, Osborne Monday Sea moved just within the top four teams, settling for fifth on the pile on 37 points as KCB remains eighth with three points behind.
Meanwhile, at the top end of the league, the FKF PL race took a twist with Gor Mahia moving ten points clear at the top after a 3-1 win over Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
