Gor Mahia cruise past Ulinzi to move 10 points clear of AFC Leopards in FKF PL race

Record Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC have solidified their quest to reclaim the 2026 FKF PL league after hitting Ulinzi Stars 3-1 in an away clash to move ten points clear in the race.
Charles Akonnor’s team entered the clash on a high, with challengers AFC Leopards and Shabana dropping valuable points in the league race, and fittingly capitalised on the slip-ups.
Enoch Morisson’s early strike from the spot added to second-half goals from Patrick Essombe and Shariff Musa as Gor maintained their dominance over the army men.
Owino’s injury scare
The clash was, however, marred with a serious injury concern for the host, whose defender, Silvester Owino, rushed to hospital after a nasty head injury.
Gor Mahia used a fast start to establish early momentum and never looked back in the game.

The clash was finished as a contest in the 75th minute after an impressive Shariff joined the scoring acts with a goal of his own.
