Enterprise Cup 2026 semi-finals set for Kenya-Uganda showdown

The stage is set for a thrilling cross-border rugby spectacle after Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed details for the 2026 Enterprise Cup semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026.
The prestigious regional tournament, co-organised by the Kenya Rugby Union and the Uganda Rugby Union, will see four top clubs battle for a place in the final in what promises to be a showcase of East Africa’s finest rugby talent.

Semi-final fixtures and venues
Following the quarter-final stage, Kenya’s heavyweights Kabras Sugar, Nondescripts, and Menengai Oilers secured their spots alongside Uganda’s sole representative, Stanbic Black Pirates.
One of the semi-finals will take place in Uganda, where Stanbic Black Pirates will host Nondescripts at Kings Park Arena. The other clash will be staged in Kenya at ASK Showground, Kakamega, with Kabras Sugar facing off against Menengai Oilers in an all-Kenyan duel.
Uganda heads into the semi-finals with just one team remaining, placing the spotlight firmly on Stanbic Black Pirates to defend national pride on home soil. Meanwhile, Kenya’s trio of clubs will be aiming to dominate proceedings and secure both slots in the final.
Knockout format raises stakes
The Enterprise Cup semi-finals will follow a straight knockout format, with the winners advancing to the final. This high-stakes structure is expected to heighten competition intensity, as teams fight for regional supremacy and bragging rights.

The Enterprise Cup remains East Africa’s premier club rugby competition, designed to promote regional unity, nurture talent, and elevate the standard of the sport. Through collaboration between Kenya and Uganda’s rugby governing bodies, the tournament continues to serve as a platform for clubs to test themselves against the best in the region.
With the semi-finals now confirmed, rugby fans across East Africa can look forward to a weekend of high-quality action as the road to the 2026 Enterprise Cup final reaches its climax.
