You’re so obsessed with me!: Fantana blasts Diamond Platnumz for mentioning her name during his Lagos concert
Ghanaian artiste and reality TV personality Francine Nyanko Koffi, popularly known as Fantana, has fired shots at Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz after he mentioned her name during his concert in Lagos, Nigeria.
Fantana took to her Instagram stories to express her frustration, accusing Diamond of being obsessed with her.

Fantana criticised Diamond for repeatedly bringing up her name, questioning why he would do so if he was truly happy in his marriage. She described his actions as obsessive and called on him to leave her alone and focus on his personal life, which she suggested was more about appearances than reality.
“If you’re so happy in your fake marriage, why are you mentioning me on stage? Why is my name always in your mouth? Please let my name rest, @diamondplatnumz. Imagine having a whole concert in Lagos and still getting on stage to mention MY NAME,” she stated.
Adding;
“Don’t irritate me this evening! You are so OBSESSED with me! Make my name rest, o! Leave me alone and face that fake marriage that you are using for social media, with that fake small, cheap, invisible ring. @diamondplatnumz, you will know more of me if you keep playing!”
This began during Diamond’s performance when he asked the crowd whether he was a Playboy. After the audience responded with a unanimous “yes,” he followed up by asking, “Who said Fantana?” This public mention appears to have angered Fantana.

This comes months after Diamond Platnumz openly admitted to cheating on fellow singer Zuchu with Fantana.
Speaking on a podcast on August 6, 2025, the Tanzanian singer revealed details about his controversial relationships during the filming of the Netflix reality show Young, Famous & African.
He explained that he pretended to be single on the show to pursue Fantana, who was also part of the cast, deliberately lying that Zuchu was just his artiste.
“During the show, I was after someone. How could I say I have a girlfriend back home? I had to lie that Zuchu was just my artiste,” he said.
Diamond also described how his relationship with Zuchu began, saying their feelings grew gradually while working together under his label.
“Zuchu started as my artiste. Feelings just grew gradually. I love her, and it is something amazing and beautiful,” he added.
On the show, Diamond and Fantana shared undeniable chemistry, spending time together, sharing intimate moments, and even facing a pregnancy scare, which Diamond admitted he would have welcomed. Fantana later revealed she had no idea Diamond was in another relationship, as he insisted he was single.
Diamond clarified that much of what was shown was scripted to portray a playboy persona.
“It wasn’t something deep. It was just something for the moment. That playboy character was for the show. It was not meant to hurt Zuchu. None of it is true in real life,” he said.
Despite warnings from other cast members, Diamond continued denying his relationship with Zuchu on screen, insisting, “No, I don’t. She is my artiste.”
