American streamer IShowSpeed, born Darren Jason Watkins Jr, was also not left behind in the bandwagon of people across the world who went all out to mark Valentine’s Day 2026, which fell on a Saturday.

The streamer, who spent the whole of last month touring Africa, went all out for the occasion, pulling out his brother Jamal for an IRL stream, which included pranking people that he was an old man to see whether he would land a partner.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, he is seen visiting many places dressed in makeup that made him look older and rocking a fake beard.

According to him, he was mimicking the famous actor John Bobby.

“John Bobby is back, baby, and John Bobby is looking for love,” he said as the stream started.

Before heading out, the revered streamer spoke on why he was disguising himself as John Bobby, saying that if someone loved him despite not looking good, then that would be true love.

“I and Jamal are about to look for a Valentine, and obviously I didn’t want to go out in public when they know me so we can find true love because if she doesn’t know me, then that is true love,” he said.

However, in the majority of places he went, and with most of the women he tried to woo, they ended up noticing that he was actually IShowSpeed and not John Bobby, leaving him disappointed.

At one point, he lost his cool and outright denied that he was IShowSpeed after a woman whom he had thought was a potential match said she had known from the very beginning who he was.

“Who did you say I am? How did you know it’s me? Honestly, I wonder. No, I am not IShowSpeed,” he said as he left with his brother Jamal.

Jamal’s moment of shame

Elsewhere, at a local market, the streamer and his brother encountered several women and, as was the case in other locations, attempted to strike up playful conversations.

However, Jamal repeatedly stayed behind Speed, avoiding direct interaction and hesitating to show his face clearly.

This left Speed frustrated, and he ended up giving him a lecture and wondering what kind of man he was that he could not speak to ladies with confidence.

“My brother is too shy to speak, but he said you all are very pretty, though. You, I can’t stand you, bro. Please, you are a man, and you are shy. Oh no,” he said as they moved to a different place to continue the stream.
