IShowSpeed officially concludes his 28-day tour across 20 African countries

Popular American streamer IShowSpeed has officially ended his 28-day tour of 20 African countries, closing a month-long trip that kept millions of fans glued to his livestreams.

Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the internet sensation shared postcards from some of the countries he visited as he bid his goodbyes.

“Thank you, Africa,” he wrote.

The YouTube star, known for his loud personality and energetic live content, has been touring the continent under his widely followed trip dubbed “Speed Does Africa.” Throughout the journey, he streamed daily moments of his travel, from meeting fans in the streets to sampling local foods and taking part in cultural experiences.

Speed’s tour drew massive attention online, with crowds forming wherever he went. Many of his streams attracted huge live audiences, as fans followed him from one country to another, turning his trip into one of the most talked-about influencer tours on the continent in recent months.

During the tour, Speed also attended major events, including the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final in Morocco. He also celebrated major milestones, including hitting 50 million YouTube subscribers and marking his 21st birthday in Nigeria while still on the road.

Kenyan visit

One of his most memorable stops was Kenya, where he received a loud welcome from excited fans, especially in Nairobi. His arrival sparked a wave of excitement, with thousands of young people showing up to see him and follow his movements in the city.

President William Ruto also welcomed the streamer, describing Kenya as Magical Kenya and inviting him to enjoy the country’s culture and hospitality.

“Jambo IShowSpeed, welcome to Kenya, karibu Kenya. Kenya is not just another country; Kenya is a pulse, a feeling. Kenya is home. This is magical Kenya, the origin of wonders,” Ruto stated in a special video to welcome the streamer.

Speed later shared that Kenya was among his favourite stops, saying he enjoyed the energy of the people and the warm reception he received.

While in Kenya, Speed took part in several activities, including visits to popular public spots and cultural experiences that quickly went viral online. His time in the country generated huge online engagement, with many Kenyans praising the global attention his visit brought.
