Wanja Nyarari: Going to church won’t make you rich without hard work

Social media personality Wanja Nyarari has emphasised the importance of hustling hard, insisting that merely going to church will not make anyone rich.

Wanja cautioned people against flooding churches in the hope of financial breakthrough without putting in hard work, discipline and courage to look for opportunities.

“Church is not a magic place where you walk in broke and walk out rich. Let’s be honest. No altar, no pastor, no prayer will replace hard work, discipline, and the courage to go out and look for opportunities,” she stated.

Faith without action

While acknowledging the importance of faith, she noted that the same should be accompanied by action, failure of which no change can be realised in one’s financial situation.

“Faith is important, but faith without action is just comfort. As you go to church today, go for strength, go for direction, go for peace,” Wanja said.

Prescribing her solution to financial breakthrough, Wanja noted that small, consistent efforts translate into meaningful results.

“But when you step out, go and work. Wake up early, push harder and start small if you must, but start,” she said.

Wanja Nyarari’s truth

Highlighted some of the common challenges people face, with some seeking solution in churches, she noted that action needs to accompany faith.

“Because the truth is this: Poverty is not broken by wishes. Depression is not healed by waiting. You change your life when you move.

She also delved into the importance of money, agreeing that it may not be everything, but it helps in solving most of the problems that people cry about in silence.

“Money may not be everything, but it solves most of the problems people cry about in silence. So pray, yes. But also hustle. God blesses the work of your hands… not the excuses of your mouth,” she added.
