Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Geoffrey, popularly known as comedian Choffrii, has urged his family to highlight his life abroad prominently in his future eulogy.

Speaking during a livestream on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Geoffrey reflected on how people’s life stories are often summarised during funerals and said he would want his own eulogy to accurately reflect where he has lived and built his life.

He said that if his life story is ever narrated, he would expect it to capture the fact that he has been living and working in Germany, and that his social media career has largely been shaped by his experiences there.

“I usually see many eulogies including details about people’s lives, where they lived, where they worked, and so on. So I would expect mine to reflect that I was living in Germany, working in Germany, and building my career as a social media influencer there,” Geoffrey said.

He also emphasised that Germany should be mentioned as the place where he has built his identity as a content creator.

“I want it to be clear and show that I lived and died in Germany, not Kenya,” he said.

Geoffrey added that his wish is for people to remember that his life journey has been centred abroad, and he discouraged the idea that he should not gloat about dying in Germany, yet he does not know what the future holds.

He said that people who wish to remain in Kenya are free to do so, but he cautioned that their eulogies would often highlight local places, such as Kawangware, that might not carry the same sense of accomplishment or prestige.

“No one should tell me I could have returned to Kenya before my time to die comes. People can stay in Kenya if they want, but they should remember that their eulogies will often be filled with local places like Kawangware, which people don’t really revere at all. That’s why I want Germany to be a key point in mine,” Geoffrey told his fans.

Appeal to fans

The development comes just days after Geoffrey appealed to his TikTok fans to step up their generosity by sending him monetary gifts because he needed funds to pay his rent.

Speaking in a TikTok live session hosted by self-proclaimed TikTok president Nyako on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Geoffrey explained that the current season in Germany calls for relaxation and urged his fans to gift him money so that he can also purchase drinks to enjoy while unwinding.

“Let me play better music as the live goes on. Right now, we are in Savannah, and all we need is support; send double, double gifts, guys, we need money to buy alcohol to relax with, and I also need money to pay rent here in Germany. Therefore, send more gifts during this live,” he said.
