‘Sio leo’ – Rahab Muthoni issues warning to men sending her flirty DMs

Kikuyu gospel singer and Akorino sensation Rahab Muthoni has addressed the growing number of men sending her flirty messages, saying she is not interested in love at this stage of her life.
Speaking in an interview shared by Muna Njomo on TikTok on Sunday, March 15, 2026, Rahab Muthoni explained that she does not want romantic attention or flirtations from men.
She clarified that she has no interest in love, does not wish to be called “my love,” and is determined to avoid temptations that could distract her from her faith.
“To those sending me flirty or love messages on my DMs, I do not want that. I am not interested in love, and I do not want to be called ‘my love’ or be put in such temptations,” she said.

Rahab emphasised that she is focused on God and that her celibacy is a personal choice.
She noted that although her age is increasing and some men have sent her marriage proposals, she prefers to wait for God’s timing rather than rushing into relationships without blessings.
She recalled instances where men approached her, including one who had children, and explained that such arrangements do not align with her plans for marriage.
“I am saved and focused on Christ. Sometimes I respond to messages to set boundaries, but I do not want romantic involvement. I know my age is increasing, but I will marry only when God’s time comes, rather than rushing into marriage without blessings. I remember a man once asked to marry me but already had children, and that is not what I want,” she said.

Muthoni further highlighted that being a public figure does not mean she is missing out on life.
She said she is content with her lifestyle and finds fulfilment in her faith, personal growth, and purpose.
She drew parallels to sisters and nuns who live without romantic relationships yet remain happy and fulfilled.
“Being single as a public figure does not mean I am missing out on life; I am content with my faith, my purpose, and my personal growth. I am fulfilled without romance, just as sisters and nuns are happy without men,” she stated.
