‘Ruto is so ruthless’ – Teary Gloria Ntazola highlights plight of Kenyan youth
Social media personality Gloria Ntazola has been moved to tears while sharing the plight of jobless youth in Kenya who are struggling to survive in a harsh economy.
In a video shared on her TikTok account on Friday, March 13, 2026, the content creator shared personal experiences of people known to her who are going through hardships and can barely provide for themselves.
Admitting that she is speaking from a point of privilege, as she does not pay rent, owns a car and lives comfortably, Ntazola stated that her position is significantly different compared to that of many Kenyan youth.

“I can’t come to you guys and lie to you that I don’t have food in my house, no. I don’t even pay rent, I own a car, I eat good food every day… There are a lot of Kenyans who can barely afford something to eat. My friends have gone to school, but they don’t have a job,” she said amid tears.
Friends among graduates affected
She mentioned that her friends who studied reputable courses at the university have ended up on the brink of destitution and can barely provide for themselves.
“They can’t even afford to eat, and these people have graduated from universities. I have friends who hold degrees who studied reputable courses like Actuarial Science, Medicine and others who were with me in the Economics class, she added.
With tears streaming down her cheeks, Ntazola noted that upon graduation, things are yet to work out for many of them who are on the verge of losing hope.
“They are just out there looking so dirty; they have lost hope. Nothing is working for them; they can’t even afford food,” the social media personality stated.
Gloria Ntazola: Ruto is ruthless
She placed the blame at the doorstep of the country’s leadership, noting that the situation is very worrying, with other equally concerning allegations.
“Ruto is ruthless,” she stated while criticising the government.

The content creator explained that the condition of her friends and the general state of joblessness in the country, which continues to affect millions of Kenyans, moved her to tears in the video.
“I never thought in life I could get to a point of crying because of how people feel and what they go through; my heart is so heavy,” she said.
