Priscilla wa Imani elated to meet Nuru Okanga as Gachagua hosts TikTokers in Nyeri
Social media personality Priscilla wa Imani has expressed her excitement after meeting political commentator Nuru Okanga during an event hosted for TikTokers by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In a video shared on her TikTok page on Friday, March 27, 2026, she is seen performing her signature whistling while standing next to Okanga, who watched her in delight.
The two had a brief interaction, and in a light-hearted moment, Priscilla invited Okanga to showcase his whistling skills. Okanga, however, declined, saying he did not know how to whistle.
Further into the video, Priscilla discussed the occasion, noting that the gathering had multiple agendas, including rallying support to ensure William Ruto serves only one term as president.
She also revealed that they had created several new hashtags in their campaign against Ruto, many of which favoured former Deputy President Gachagua.
“I am here with Nuru Okanga, the one and only. And we say work is work, and today we have many hashtags that we are going with. One of them is #Fichawhitenariggyg. Another one is #Wantam, and the other we just say that Ruto must go. Kasongo must go,” she said.

Nuru Okanga, for his part, expressed his strong support for Gachagua, noting that he considers the former Deputy President fearless and a leader of integrity who is ready to transform the country.
He highlighted Gachagua’s non-tribal stance and affirmed his confidence that Gachagua would successfully challenge Ruto in the coming elections.
Okanga also described his personal experience during the event, noting that he spent the night in Wamunyoro, Gachagua’s home area, and felt inspired by the enthusiasm and dedication of the supporters present.
He even joked that he could extend his support to anyone, including secondary figures, who were actively participating in the campaign.
“About last night, I am still in Wamunyoro. Rigathi Gachagua will take William Ruto home. He is fearless, a leader of integrity, and someone ready to change this country. He is not tribal,” he wrote on Facebook.

Okanga emphasised that the energy and commitment of Gachagua’s supporters during the TikTokers’ rally in Nyeri reflected the strong grassroots momentum behind the former Deputy President, suggesting that the campaign was gaining traction ahead of the upcoming political contests.
“I am a Mluya, and having spent the night in Wamunyoro, I can see the passion and commitment of the people; even secondary figures would be inspired to participate here,’ he added.
