Pastor walks from Embu to Nairobi to gift Kameme FM’s Muthoni Babytop a goat

An Embu preacher identified as Charles Muriithi has fulfilled his mission of gifting popular Kameme FM presenter Muthoni wa Kirumba, popularly known as Babytop, a goat after walking over 130 kilometres from Embu to Kijabe Street, where the media personality works.
The man arrived in Nairobi on Friday, February 6, 2026, and tethered the goat to an electricity pole outside Media Max’s basement parking entrance as he urged social media users to call upon the radio presenter to come and receive him.
Minutes after his story went viral on Facebook and TikTok, Babytop stepped out to receive him and expressed excitement over how thoughtful the preacher was, noting that it was not easy for someone to walk such a long distance just to deliver a surprise gift.
She thanked him and pointed out that she had noticed the message he had written on his shirt, which detailed his long journey and dedication.
“Thank you so much. So you are our fan, and I can see you even wrote a message on your shirt explaining what you have done. I am truly grateful and touched by the effort you made to walk all this way just to surprise me,” Babytop said.

The media personality was accompanied by ‘Itaha Ria Muoyo’ show host Evangelist Lucy Wangujirĩ, who also expressed excitement over the preacher’s gesture and went ahead to pray, asking God to bless the goat as a meaningful gift to Babytop.
Babytop later rewarded the preacher with Ksh50,000, a moment that left him emotional, while Evangelist Wangujirĩ also topped it up with Ksh2,000 in appreciation of his thoughtful and sacrificial act.
Mission behind the challenge
Previously, the Embu-based pastor had appeared in an interview with a local Kikuyu YouTuber and revealed that he had been a long-time admirer of Babytop and had always desired to meet her in person.
He explained that although he was born in Kirinyaga, he currently resides in Embu, and further shared that it was God who directed him to walk all the way to Nairobi to present Babytop with a goat.
He stated that the goat he brought was a virgin and had never given birth, which is why he considered it a pure and healthy animal worthy of being presented as a gift.
“This goat is a virgin and has never given birth, and that is why I brought it to her because it is pure and healthy. My name is Charles Muriithi, and my ministry name is Pastor Walucia. I am from Embu, though I was born in Kirinyaga. I walked all the way on foot to meet Babytop because I love her, and I have followed her since she joined Kameme FM. I have been her fan for many years. There was a time she came to Embu, and I was not able to meet her closely, but I told God that one day I would meet her. That is how this mission came about. Many people thought I was crazy for attempting such a journey, but they do not understand that I was sent by God,” the preacher said.
