Pastor Kanyari celebrates Maina Wa OTC after glamorous ordination to office of Bishop

Salvation Healing Ministry founder pastor Victor Kanyari has penned a warm congratulatory message after attending the colourful ordination ceremony of Maina Wa OTC, who was officially consecrated into the office of Bishop.
The grand ceremony, which was held on Sunday, May 9, 2026, at the headquarters of Born Again Evangelism Church, also saw Maina’s wife, Pastor Esther, elevated to officially begin serving as a Reverend.
The glamorous event was presided over by Archbishop Harrison Nganga and attracted several prominent politicians, clergy members, celebrities, and online personalities. Among those who attended were former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, YouTuber Kururia and Facebook influencer Karangu Muraya.
The celebration kicked off with a lively procession led by a church choir before Maina and his wife made a grand entrance in separate vehicles, waving to jubilant congregants and guests through the sunroofs as the crowd cheered them on.
Following the event, Kanyari took to social media to celebrate the newly ordained bishop, describing the day as powerful and blessed. The self-proclaimed spiritual healer said it was an honour for him to join believers, leaders, and members of the community in marking the special milestone.
“What a powerful and blessed day at the ordination of Bishop Maina wa OTC. It was an honour to celebrate this special moment together with believers, leaders, and the community,” Kanyari wrote.

Kanyari further noted that the ceremony symbolised a major spiritual step for Maina, expressing hope that the newly ordained bishop would continue impacting lives positively through ministry and giving hope to many people.
“May God continue to use Bishop Maina mightily to transform lives and bring hope to many,” he added.
His message came shortly after Maina himself shared a thanksgiving post, describing the ordination as the beginning of a new chapter in his life and ministry.
“A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in His time (Isaiah 60:22). Called by faith and consecrated for service… a new chapter has officially begun,” Maina wrote.
The preacher also thanked leaders and guests who attended the event, with special appreciation directed to Gachagua for gracing the occasion.
“I would like to sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude to our respected leaders for honouring us with their presence today. Your participation inspired many people and made this occasion even more meaningful. Mbarikiwe sana,” he added.
