Sandra Mbuvi speaks on reason she believes Vindee has been accepted to Streamer University
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter, Sandra Mbuvi, has explained why she is convinced that Kenyan content creator Vindee has already secured a place in Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, despite the creator still seeking clarity on his application status.
Speaking during a livestream on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, Sandra carefully reviewed an email Vindee had received from the Streamer University team and pointed out several details that she believes indicate he was successful in his application.
According to Sandra, the wording used in the communication was significantly different from the response she received when she unsuccessfully applied for the inaugural edition of the programme.
“If you see here that Kai Cenat sent you a fee structure, that means you were accepted. You see what they are saying,” she said.
After reading through the email, Sandra noted that the message informed Vindee that his application had already been reviewed and included instructions on how to proceed with enrollment.
She argued that such information would not ordinarily be shared with unsuccessful applicants.
“They are saying that your application has been received and reviewed, and that you should proceed with the enrollment process. That means you were accepted,” she added.

Sandra further pointed out that the email contained details relating to enrollment requirements, including payment information and a request for personal details, something she interpreted as a sign that Vindee had progressed beyond the selection stage.
Because of that experience, she said she was able to identify a clear distinction between a rejection notice and an acceptance communication.
“For me, I remember when I applied last year, they said that they had declined my offer. It was different from what you received. That means you were accepted,” she shared.
The social media personality maintained that if the organisers were discussing enrollment procedures and requesting additional information from Vendee, then it strongly suggested that he had already secured a place in the programme.
Sandra even went as far as advising the content creator to focus on completing the next steps outlined in the email, insisting that the communication did not resemble a rejection in any way.
“For real, look at this. They are talking about the enrollment fee and they even asked for your address. I still have the email they sent me declining my application. You were accepted. All you need to do now is pay the fee,” Sandra said.
Her remarks left Vindee visibly excited as the pair continued discussing the possibility of him joining the globally recognised creator bootcamp founded by American streaming star Kai Cenat.
The discussion has since attracted attention online, with fans debating whether Sandra’s interpretation of the email is accurate and whether Vendee could indeed become one of the few African creators selected for the programme.
The first edition of the programme, held in 2025, attracted creators from different parts of the world and featured a limited number of participants selected from thousands of applicants.
Notably, Nigerian comedian Shank Comics was the only African creator selected for Streamer University 1.0, making history as the continent’s sole representative during the highly publicised event.
