The Kenyan YouTuber, while revealing that she has been depressed, went on to call out critics who spoke negatively about how her marriage was killing her ambitions.

“Guys have been talking negatively about how getting married kills dreams, blaming my husband every day, not understanding that my husband has nothing to do with my depression,” Miss Trudy explained.

Wode made sacrifices

On her part, Trudy, while dismissing her critics, explained that Wode Maya was a present partner and sacrificed a lot towards her recovery.

“In fact, he has a lot to do with why I am okay today; he has sacrificed so much,” Trudy said.

Trudy further asked her critics, who had previously insulted Maya, to take back their words.

“So please, if you have insulted Maya, thinking that he has done something to me, please just take it back. No one is perfect, but he is the best,” Trudy stated.

Trudy explains pregnancy journey

Content creator Miss Trudy further came out, explaining details of why she decided to keep details of her miscarriages from her family.

In her first video after seven months, released on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Miss Trudy explained how she did not want to stress her family.

The YouTuber narrated that together with her husband, Ghanaian travel vlogger Wode Moses Maya, they chose to handle four of her miscarriages just between them while keeping it from their families.

“We got to a point because we were having many miscarriages; we could not tell our families. We decided, let’s not stress our families,” Trudy narrated.

However, Trudy revealed that her father only knew of two miscarriages while explaining why she chose to keep it from him.

“My father did not know how many miscarriages I had; he just knew two, and Maya’s mom just knew, like, two because we did not want to stress them out,” Trudy added.
