Liz Jackson reveals she’s building her dream home on 5-acre property in Konza City

Media personality and digital content creator Liz Jackson has shared an update on her journey to build her dream home on a five-acre plot in Konza City, opening up about both the challenges and the unique advantages of the location.
In her Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Liz revealed that developing such a large property has not been easy, but she has found creative, cost-effective ways to work with the land’s natural resources.
“Building on five acres hasn’t been easy, but the place has a few advantages, like these stones,” she shared.
According to Liz, stones found on the property have significantly helped cut construction costs. Instead of purchasing materials elsewhere, she has been using the stones in the development process.
“I’ve used them for payments. They are readily available, so I just get someone to dig them up for me; we crush them and make pavements around the property,” she explained.
She also highlighted the land’s strategic location, noting that the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) runs just behind the property, making it easily accessible even without a car.

“The SGR is just behind, so it’s not a must that I come with a car. I can easily access the place using the train since there’s a station nearby,” she said.
In addition, Liz disclosed that sand is readily available on the farm, further easing construction logistics. “We collect sand from the river down the farm,” she added.
Liz Jackson’s relationship with her mother
This comes a few weeks after she opened up about the personal reason she calls her biological mother by her name instead of ‘mum’ or ‘mama’.
In a confession shared on her official Instagram account on Friday, January 9, 2026, Liz shared a touching story from her childhood.
Liz revealed that she spent much of her early life in the village, where she was raised by her aunt, whom she believed was her biological mother.
In addition, she says, growing up, she naturally formed a strong bond with her aunt, calling her “mum” because that was the role she played in her life.

“Hio challenge ya kuendea watoto ushago is abit too personal for me. I should give you guys a story time of how I didn’t know my mum was my mum,” she revealed.
“Nilikaa ushago sana and I thought my auntie is my mum (my mum’s sister). I noticed my mum would visit me occasionally and buy me stuff. So one day I asked my auntie ‘na huyu mama mweupe anashidanga akininunulia vitu ni nani?’ and she told me uyo ndio mama yako!,” she narrated.
“Until today I call my auntie mum, and I call my mum by her name juu I grew up like that na nilishindwa kubadilisha,” she added.
