Karangu Muraya has broken his silence to directly counter claims of parental neglect. These accusations were made by his enstranged wife Triza Njeri.

Triza Njeri publicly accused her estranged husband of parental neglect claiming he took their children without her knowledge and failed to support them for months. The allegations gained traction following comments made by Karangu’s wife, Carol Kim during his 40th birthday celebrations, which sparked significant online backlash.

In a passionate and detailed response, Karangu Muraya broke his silence to directly counter these claims. He narrated a recent incident where he immediately cared for their unwell children. “This was on Wednesday this week, when I received a call from my kids that they are not feeling well…. I went there and took them to hospital….I spent the entire day with them,” he stated, asserting his active role as a father.

Addressing the core accusation of financial neglect, Karangu provided a pointed rebuttal: “Kwa hiyo nyumba, mimi huwa nalipa kila bill ya maji, ya stima na mimi huwa naleta shopping.” He expressed deep hurt over being disrespected in front of the children, recalling a moment where he was called uncircumcised after providing for them.

His message transcended the financial dispute, touching on emotional wounds from the relationship’s dissolution. “Mimi mwenye mnaita fool, mliniambia hamtaki ndoa na niwapatie freedom na nikakumbali… nikawapatia nyumba yangu mpya,” he recounted, emphasising his compliance with their separation terms for the children’s sake.

Karangu concluded with a firm yet pleading declaration of his paternal commitment and a boundary. “Mimi nitaendelea kuangalia watoto wangu kadri ya uwezo wangu,” he affirmed, while appealing, “nawaomba kwa heshima hata kama mnanidharau… msiingize watoto wangu kwa hiyo madharau.” He signed off with the hashtag #sikumojaukweliutajulikana (the truth will be known), setting the stage for the ongoing public dispute.
