Dr Ofweneke warns women not to date men without purpose

Kenyan comedian and media personality Sande Bush, alias Dr Ofweneke, has shared a strong message about purpose, relationships, and the roles of men and women in marriage.
Speaking about the importance of purpose, Ofweneke, in a video shared on his official Instagram account on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, said that he has been learning that everything God created was intentional and deliberate, and nothing exists without a reason.
According to him, purpose comes before anything else, including relationships.
“I am learning something about purpose, and I am learning that everything that God did was very intentional and deliberate; there is nothing that God did or created that did not have a purpose,” Ofweneke said.
“But I am also learning that before God gave a man a woman, before God gave man a wife, God gave him purpose first.”
Men without purpose
The media personality, in addition, noted the danger of a man getting into a relationship or marriage without understanding his purpose.
“That is why I keep on telling men that it is very dangerous when you get into a marriage or relationship setup when you do not understand your purpose, and women, it is very dangerous when you get entangled or when you get involved with a man who has not discovered his purpose yet,” he added.
“A man who does not have his purpose does not have a vision and does not have a pathway to where he is leading, and there is nothing as dangerous as a woman being led by a man who can not even lead himself first.”
According to him, men who lack purpose struggle with depression, jealousy, bitterness, confusion, and even stress-related illnesses like ulcers.
“After creation, a man was given purpose; his purpose was to dominate,a lot of us men are walking without knowing our purpose; that is why we are getting into depression; we have jealousy and bitterness,” Ofweneke added.
“We are confused, and we have ulcers because we have not discovered our purpose, and purpose is the right to dominate, and purpose can only come from God.”
Warning to women
Ofweneke also sent a strong warning to women against getting involved with men without purpose.
“Women, you cannot get involved by a man who does not have a purpose to dominate. If a woman who does not have purpose and vision gets involved with a man who have not have purpose and vision, you are both two blind people who can not walk anywhere,” he warned.
