In her message, Nyarari praised Ambani as a talented actor and one of the longest-serving creatives with global award recognition.
“Congratulations, Darling, on your appointment as Advisor on Creative Arts by H.E. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, Governor of Mombasa County,” Wanja wrote.

“A talented actor himself and among the longest-serving creatives with global award recognition, Kenneth Ambani brings firsthand experience to leadership. Our youth are driven and gifted, and their talents can only flourish in the right hands,” she shared.

According to Nyarari, Ambani’s appointment is not only a personal milestone but also a landmark moment for the creative arts sector, particularly in Mombasa, where his vision is set to showcase the city’s art on international stages and auctions.
She expressed hope that Ambani would eventually play a pivotal role at the national government level, helping shape creative policy and opportunities across the country.
“With a bold vision that looks as far as Singapore, Mombasa’s art should now reach international auctions and global markets. I also wish that, in the future, you will be instrumental at the national government level, shaping creative policy and opportunities for the whole country. 👏✨,” she added.
Nyarari further detailed the various forms of art that Ambani is expected to influence, including visual arts such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, fashion, and design; performing arts like acting, theatre, dance, music, and film; literary arts including writing, poetry, storytelling, and scripts; creative and digital arts spanning animation, content creation, multimedia, and technology; and cultural arts covering traditional crafts, performances, and heritage expressions.
