Ruiru TikToker who lost part of her lip after man dubbed ‘Vampire’ bit her narrates ordeal

Ruiru woman Lucy Kinyua, who was left with part of her lower lip missing after being bitten by a man dubbed ‘Vampire’, has narrated the terrifying ordeal as fear continues to grip residents following a series of attacks linked to the man.
Speaking during a TikTok Live on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Kinyua, who uses the TikTok handle Milly, showed the marks she sustained across her body during the struggle and explained how she fought to survive the attack that left her with a visibly injured lip.
Kinyua said she could only attribute her survival to God, describing the incident as an extremely difficult experience that left her with several marks on her body.
“All I can say is that it is God who helped me. See, I have marks all over my body. It was not easy, and I gained all these marks after struggling. So, when you see me with my bitten lip, just know that I struggled enough. It was not easy,” she said.
The woman said she could not conclude that the man intended to take her life, noting that other people who had encountered him in Ruiru had also been bitten on their hands or around the mouth.
Kinyua said the pattern had made her believe that the attacks could be connected to a cult, questioning why the victims appeared to have been targeted in similar parts of their bodies.
“So, I cannot say he wanted to go after my life because, from all the incidents here in Ruiru, all of them were bitten on the hands and in the mouth. So, this thing is kind of a cult. No one has been bitten elsewhere,” she said.
She further questioned where the man took the part of her lip that she said was missing after the bite, explaining that the injury also affected the skin around her lower jaw.
“I believe it is a cult because where did he take the other part of my lip after biting me? My lips are not big, so when he bit me, he also took part of the lower jaw skin,” she said.
Kinyua also described the man’s behaviour when members of the public confronted him during the incident, saying he did not communicate normally and instead made sounds that she likened to those of an animal.
“And when people confronted him after he was biting me, he could not speak. When he was near people, he was like an animal. He was just groaning like an animal,” she said.
Photos and videos showing Kinyua with the injury to her lip have since circulated widely on social media, drawing public attention to her account and intensifying discussions surrounding the man who has been dubbed ‘Vampire’.
Kinyua’s account has added to the growing public conversation surrounding the incidents, particularly her claims that victims have been bitten on their hands and around the mouth.
