Oga Obinna breaks silence on Stoopid Boy’s death, says he will not stop hosting guests with mental health struggles

Oga Obinna has broken his silence after the death of Stoopid Boy, saying he will not stop hosting people going through mental health struggles on his platform.
The media personality said he had thought about the situation in different ways following the death. He also addressed criticism over his decision to continue giving people a platform.
“We had the death of Stoopid Boy, and it has sparked mixed reactions. And I have looked at it in very different ways; I have really thought hard about it,” Oga Obinna said.
Oga Obinna explained that he has hosted hundreds of guests on Obinna Show Live since he started the show three years ago. He said the show has had 726 episodes, with him sitting down with 726 guests during that period.
He said only a few individuals had chosen to focus on the situation in a particular way.
“Out of the 726 episodes of Obinna Show Live, I have sat down 726 times. I started the show three years ago, and I have started with 726 guests,” Oga Obinna said.
He explained that two or three individuals had decided to spread what he described as malice and narrow the situation down to achieve a certain idea. Oga Obinna said he found it interesting to see how the issue was being looked at. He said he had taken time to think about the different views surrounding the matter.
“And I have started with 726 guests, and 2, 3 individuals have decided to spread their malice and narrow it down to achieve a certain idea that they are trying to achieve. It is interesting to look at, and I am like Wow,” Oga Obinna said.
Obinna stands by his mental health focus
Oga Obinna also addressed calls for him to stop hosting people who are going through mental health issues on his platform. He said such a move would be difficult because supporting mental health is an important part of what he stands for. He explained that he considers himself a champion for mental health.
“I have seen the part where people are saying I should stop hosting people who are going through mental health issues on this platform. It is going to be hard because I am a champion for mental health,” Oga Obinna said.
Oga Obinna said his position remains tied to his support for mental health. He made the remarks while reflecting on the death of Stoopid Boy and the different views that followed it.
He said he had looked at the situation from different angles before responding to the criticism.
The media personality maintained that his long-running show has featured many guests over its 726 episodes. He said the number of guests and episodes was important when looking at the situation surrounding the death.
