Oga Obinna’s mum warns him against searching for a perfect woman

Oga Obinna’s mum has warned him against searching for a perfect woman, telling him that finding a wife could become difficult if he expects too much from a partner.
While driving together on Sunday, August 30, 2026, she explained that no woman is perfect and encouraged him to focus on finding someone he understands and who understands him.
Obinna shared the conversation with his mother after she told him what she believed was the problem with his search for a partner. He said he listened to her explanation after she pointed out that he may be expecting too much from women.
“Mom has told me something, and I am like okay…..eti the problem with me?” Oga Obinna said.

His mother then explained that Obinna’s search for a perfect woman could be making it difficult for him to find a wife. She said every woman has her own faults and that disagreements are part of relationships, even among people who live together.
“The problem is that you want a perfect woman. And there is no woman in this world. Kila mwanamke ako na kasoro zake. Unaskia?” Oga Obinna’s mum said.
She gave examples of couples who may have differences every day but remain in the same house. She said such situations show that there is no perfect woman or perfect relationship, adding that couples will at some point disagree.
“Hata hizi nyumba unaona, people are having differences daily, kila siku. Labda hata mtu analala kwa kiti, but they are in the same house, kumaanisha hakuna the perfect woman,” Oga Obinna’s mum said.
Advice on finding a partner
Obinna’s mum told him that looking for a perfect woman could make it harder for him to settle down. She encouraged him to find someone with whom they understand each other instead of expecting perfection from a partner.
“Lazima mtakosana. Sasa wewe ukitafuta mwanamke perfect, my son kutpata bibi itakua shida. Just look for somebody as long as you understand each other,” Oga Obinna’s mum said.

She also advised her son to look for a woman who can help calm situations when there are disagreements. She said he should not focus too much on love while searching for a partner.
“Mwanamke ambaye anaweza kufanya moto itulie. Usiangalie mapenzi sana. And when you are ready to marry, ask me, I will choose for you a woman,” Oga Obinna’s mum said.
Obinna acknowledged his mother’s point and explained that his own approach to relationships may have contributed to his difficulty. He said he usually looks for many qualities when considering a woman.
“The problem I have been having is that I look for a lot of qualities,” Oga Obinna said.
