MCA Tricky shares life update after relocating to Germany for Master’s studies

Comedian MCA Tricky has given fans a glimpse into his life in Europe after relocating to Germany to pursue his Master’s degree, revealing that he recently crossed into neighbouring Switzerland, where he enjoyed scenic views, a cable car ride and what he described as a unique experience of feeling breezes from three different countries.
In a Facebook post shared on Saturday, July 18, 2026, the comedian announced that he was in Reigoldswil, Basel-Land, Switzerland, where he spent time exploring the picturesque destination.
He also shared videos of himself enjoying a cable car ride alongside friends as he admired the breathtaking scenery.
“Hello from Switzerland, Reigoldswil, Basel-Land. Moments to cherish. Cable car experience with the sharp boys of Basel-Land, Switzerland!” MCA Tricky wrote.
The comedian further joked that his famous “Gospel of Sifuna” had now reached Europe.
“As you can see, the Gospel of Sifuna is well represented here in Europe!” he added.
Besides giving fans a tour of the Swiss destination, MCA Tricky also reminded Kenyans in the United Kingdom that he would soon be travelling there for an upcoming event, where he is expected to serve as the host.
“There will be an event in Northampton in the UK, and I will be hosting it,” he said.
Before heading to Britain, however, the comedian said he intended to continue relaxing and taking in the beauty of Switzerland.
He went on to explain what had fascinated him most about the location, saying he was enjoying cool breezes coming from three different countries at the same time.
According to MCA Tricky, one side of where he was standing faced Switzerland, another overlooked France, while the other pointed towards Germany.
“Before that, let me keep relaxing and enjoying the cool breezes here in this beautiful place. The thing with this breeze is that it’s from three different places. The first breeze is from Switzerland. On the other side is France, so I’m also enjoying that breeze, and on the other end is Germany. I’m enjoying that breeze as well,” the comedian explained.
Responding to fans who had questioned his decision, MCA Tricky revealed that he had enrolled for a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechatronics, insisting the move was never about abandoning comedy but about preparing for the future.
He explained that he wanted to grow academically while continuing to build on his talent, saying education and creativity should complement each other rather than compete.
The comedian noted that while degrees open doors, talent opens hearts and opportunities, adding that his goal is to succeed in both fields as he continues growing his career beyond comedy.
“The world is changing faster than ever, and I refuse to watch it change from my sidelines. That’s why I crossed continental borders to get my MSc in Mechatronics here in Germany, not to replace my artistic gift, but to strengthen my future,” he wrote at the time.
MCA Tricky rose to national prominence through Churchill Show, where his witty performances earned him a loyal fan base.
