Amateur boxer Mbavu Destroyer has thrown down the gauntlet to American fitness influencer Ashton Hall ahead of his highly anticipated visit to Kenya, boldly declaring that he is ready to outshine the internet sensation once he arrives in the country.
In a TikTok video shared on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Mbavu Destroyer called on his followers to ensure Ashton Hall receives his message, expressing confidence that he is more than prepared for the anticipated encounter.
According to the comedian, he believes he has what it takes to steal the spotlight from the globally renowned fitness creator despite Hall’s reputation for his intense workout routines and disciplined lifestyle.
“Someone tag Ashton Hall and tell him I’m waiting for him. I am so ready, and I know it will be bad because I will outshine him,” Mbavu Destroyer wrote.
Shortly after issuing the challenge, the comedian shared a video appearing to reinforce his message.
In the clip, Mbavu Destroyer is seen performing a series of intense workout routines, including push-ups on a flight of stairs, seemingly mimicking the type of physically demanding fitness content that has made Ashton Hall famous across social media.
To heighten the dramatic effect, the content creator used a popular DJ Afro narration from the action film Mercenary as the background audio.
The audio, commonly associated with warning scenes and high-stakes confrontations, appeared to suggest that Mbavu Destroyer was issuing a playful warning to the American fitness influencer ahead of his arrival in Kenya.
Hall’s African tour
His latest remarks come as excitement continues to build around Ashton Hall’s expected visit to the country as part of his wider African tour.
The American influencer recently confirmed plans to visit all 54 African countries, with Kenya among the destinations expected to feature prominently during the continental journey.
Hall has built a massive international following through his disciplined fitness routines, early morning workout videos and motivational lifestyle content, making his upcoming African tour one of the most anticipated influencer events on the continent.
At the time, Vindee argued that Tileh possessed the physique, discipline and fitness background needed to represent Kenya, while adding that he hoped to livestream interactions between the pair once Ashton Hall arrived.
