Socialite Diana Bahati has revealed that her husband, singer Kevin Bahati, must deposit Ksh10 million into her account before she can entertain any talk of having another baby with him.

Speaking in an interview shared by Carbi Maria on TikTok on Sunday, August 30, 2026, Diana explained that she had already made her position clear to Bahati, insisting that the hefty sum would have to be deposited before they could begin planning for another child.

“Well, about all that you have said, I will say this. Yeah, I told Bahati that he has to deposit money in my account first,” she shared.

Diana said she has no objection to having another baby with the singer, but made it clear that Bahati would first have to meet the financial condition she had set before they could take any further steps towards expanding their family.

She explained that the Ksh10 million would not represent the entire amount required for the pregnancy and eventual delivery, but would instead serve as an initial deposit.

Diana further disclosed that once Bahati makes the deposit, the couple will be free to proceed with their plans and begin anticipating the arrival of another child.

“I do not have any issue with giving him another baby. So he has to make the deposit first, and I also made it clear to him that that deposit should be a Ksh10 million deposit,” she said.

Diana then added another detail to the unusual arrangement, explaining that the Ksh10 million would only be the beginning of the financial commitment rather than the final amount Bahati would be expected to spend.

“When he gives me the deposit, then that night whatever happens happens, and then we start expecting a child,” she said.

She clarified that Bahati would still have to cater for additional expenses later, particularly when the couple eventually gets to the hospital.

“The rest of the money, which I will need, he will pay later when we come to the hospital. That Ksh10 million is not the total amount but the deposit,” Diana added.

Beautiful marriage

The revelation comes days after musician Kevin Bahati offered a glimpse into the playful dynamics of his marriage to Diana Marua, revealing the only circumstances under which he is allowed to get close to other women.

Bahati made the revelation on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, after sharing a photo with Miss Kemunto, who had featured in one of his music videos.

According to the singer, music video shoots provide the rare occasion when Diana allows him to work closely with women outside their relationship.

“The only time my wife allows me to come close to girls is during music video shoots,” Bahati said.

His remarks, however, immediately drew a cheeky response from Diana, who appeared to question whether she genuinely gives him permission or simply discovers after the fact that he has already completed the shoot.

“Do I allow you to really ama nashtukianga ulishafanya shoot?” Diana asked.

The light-hearted exchange offered fans another glimpse into the couple’s often playful public interactions, with Diana seemingly challenging Bahati’s suggestion that she willingly gives him the green light to get close to other women for his music projects.

The exchange came only days after Diana had publicly celebrated her husband while reflecting on the profound impact their relationship has had on her life.

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Diana shared an affectionate message in which she said her life with Bahati had surpassed what she had once hoped and prayed for.

“I hope my husband knows that because of him, my life turned out to be more than what I prayed for,” she wrote.
