Celebrity barber Joseph Cutz reveals dream of shaving billionaire Wicknell Chivayo

Celebrity barber Joseph Cutz has revealed his dream of one day shaving Zimbabwean billionaire businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
In a post shared on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Nairobi-based barber, who has gained recognition for grooming high-profile personalities, said he has carried the dream in his heart for the past eight years.
Joseph said it would be a great honour to have Chivayo sit in his barber’s chair and receive a JosephCutz haircut.
“For a long time, I’ve dreamed of the day Sir Wicknell Chivayo comes to Kenya. It would be a great honour to personally serve him and give him a JosephCutz haircut,” he wrote.
‘A dream I have carried for 8 years’
Joseph acknowledged that giving someone a haircut may take only a few minutes, but said the opportunity would hold much greater meaning for him.
“It may only be a service that takes a few minutes, but to me, it is a dream I have carried in my heart for 8 years,” he said.
The barber said his vision was rooted in faith, hard work and patience, adding that some dreams begin as simple thoughts before eventually becoming reality.
“Sometimes, dreams begin as a simple thought in the heart, but through faith, hard work, patience, and God opening doors we never expected, they can become reality,” he wrote.
Joseph added that he was not in a hurry to see the dream happen, saying he believes everything comes at the right time.
“I’m not rushing the timing, and I’m not posting this for attention. This is simply a vision I have carried in my heart for years,” he said.
From IShowSpeed to Fally Ipupa
Joseph has built a reputation for working with high-profile clients, with some of his most notable encounters involving international stars.
In January 2026, he gained widespread attention after shaving American streamer IShowSpeed during his visit to Kenya. IShowSpeed’s management had contacted Joseph through Instagram before the streamer arrived in the country.
Joseph later revealed that he had also shaved Congolese music star Fally Ipupa during the artiste’s visit to Kenya for a concert.
His clientele has also included Kenyan public figures such as Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, musician Jaguar, Samwel Masaki and Wahinya Simba.
‘One day, Wicknell will sit in the chair’
Despite the notable personalities he has already served, Joseph said Chivayo remains a client he hopes to welcome in the future.
“My part is to keep working, keep growing, write down the vision, and leave the rest in God’s hands,” he wrote.
He concluded the post with a reference to Habakkuk 2:2, expressing his belief that the vision he has held for years will eventually become reality.
“One day, Sir Wicknell Chivayo will sit in the Joseph Cutz chair,” he wrote.
