Businessman offers Stivo Simple Boy Ksh100k after Andrew Kibe’s remarks spark backlash

The entrepreneur stepped up to support the singer after Kibe’s remarks caused a major uproar across social media platforms, leaving fans furious.
Dr Hezekiah Kariuki, the Chief Executive Officer of Comfort Homes, came to the defence of the musician. He shared a post on Facebook to express his disappointment over the online bullying directed at the artist.
Finding the artist
In his social media post on June 29, 2026, the real estate boss made it clear that every human being deserves respect regardless of their status. He called out the negative commentary and offered a cash token to help lift the singer’s spirits during this trying moment.

Kariuki asked his Facebook followers to help him track down the singer so he could hand over the cash gift immediately.
“Mwenye atapata Stivo Simple Boy amwambie pole sana. Sisi wote tuliumbwa kama Mungu. Niko na ngiri zake 100k akujie,” Kariuki posted.
The post quickly went viral, attracting thousands of comments and shares. A large number of Kenyans praised the businessman for supporting the musician when he needed it most.
Money ready for collection
Kariuki did not stop there. To prove he was serious about the financial reward, he went back to his comment section to reassure netizens that the money was fully available.

He wrote, “Leo lazima alale nazo,” showing his urgency to get the cash to the singer.
The controversy started when Andrew Kibe targeted Stivo Simple Boy during a local digital broadcast, making remarks that many felt were unwarranted and crossed the line.
