Bolo Bespoke claims Diamond Platnumz copied his pregnancy photos and style

Businessman and social media personality Bolo Bespoke has sparked debate online after claiming Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz copied one of his pregnancy announcement poses.
Bolo made the remarks in a post shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, August 1, 2026, after photos and videos from Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s lavish baby shower went viral on social media.
The businessman suggested that one of the romantic poses seen during the celebration resembled a maternity shoot he had previously done with his wife, Mueni, when they announced they were expecting their third child.
Bolo says Diamond copied him
Reacting to the photos, Bolo jokingly questioned why people dismiss his claims whenever he says Diamond borrows ideas from him.
He pointed to the baby shower pictures, saying the pose looked similar to one he had shared months earlier. “Na nikiwaambia uyu Diamond Platnumz anashinda amenicopy. Sasa ona. Si hii amenicopy? Surely?” Bolo Bespoke said.
He went on to ask fans who they believed was more famous across Africa before insisting that people should stop comparing his lifestyle to Diamond’s. “Nyinyi mkiona mimi na Diamond, who is more famous in Africa? Ati sasa mnacompare Diamond Platnumz na lifestyle yangu? Mnanitafuta sana. I spend his monthly budget in one night,” Bolo added.
Diamond and Zuchu’s baby shower attracts attention
Bolo’s remarks came shortly after Diamond and Zuchu held a colourful baby shower as they celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child together.
During the event, Diamond was seen kissing Zuchu’s baby bump, a moment that many fans described as emotional. The pose also drew comparisons online after Bolo pointed out its resemblance to his own maternity photos with Mueni.
The celebration featured close family members and friends, with several affectionate moments between the couple becoming some of the most talked-about highlights from the event.
Diamond gifts Zuchu millions
The baby shower also attracted attention after Diamond presented Zuchu with Kshh3.87 million as a gift. While handing over the money, the singer explained that the amount was only a token of appreciation and could never match the value of what Zuchu had given him by carrying their child.
Diamond said no amount of money would ever be enough to repay her, praising her as his wife, the mother of his child and someone very special in his life.
The event also stood out because it came only weeks after the couple had announced they had separated and they were going through a divorce. Their appearance together and public display of affection appeared to reassure many fans that they are now focused on preparing for the arrival of their baby.
